MarkĀ graduated from Queens University Belfast in 2008 and qualified as a pharmacist in 2009. Having begun his career as a locum community pharmacist, Mark moved into the hospital pharmacy sector in 2010. He began his hospital career in Causeway Hospital working as a clinical pharmacist before moving to Antrim Area Hospital later that year.
Throughout his career at Antrim Area Hospital, Mark has worked across various roles including both clinical pharmacy, a pharmacy representative within GP practices and in regional pharmaceutical procurement. Whilst undertaking his role in regional procurement, Mark served on the National Institute for Care and Health Excellence (NICE) Patient Access Scheme Liaison Unit (PASLU) committee from 2013 to 2016 as the representative for Northern Ireland.
