Tax Relief on Professional Fees
Did you know that you may be eligible to claim tax relief on Professional Membership fees and subscriptions if these are needed for you to be able to do your job?
You can claim for the current tax year and the four previous tax years. When you claim, you must send copies of receipts, or other evidence, that show how much you paid for each professional fee or subscription.

To obtain a copy of your Pharmaceutical Society NI receipt for retention fees from 2022 onwards first of all log into our Regulator Online portal (ROL) https://portal.psni.org.uk/Account/Login and navigate to the “Payments” tab and scroll down to “Payment History”, click on the blue “Receipt” button (Screenshot 1)
After clicking on the “Receipt” button, your receipt will download (Screenshot 2) as a PDF document (Screenshot 3 – example receipt)
For receipts prior to 2022, you will need to email registration@psni.org.uk with your name, registration number and the specific years required.
