The Pharmaceutical Society NI is pleased to announce that 93.75% of Northern Ireland candidates who sat the Common Registration Assessment (CRA) on
16 June 2026 successfully passed the assessment.
This is an excellent achievement and reflects the commitment, resilience and hard work shown by trainee pharmacists throughout their Foundation Training Year.
The CRA is designed to confirm that candidates have the knowledge, judgement and skills required to practise safely and effectively. Passing the assessment is an important step towards eligibility to apply to join the Register of Pharmacists.
Pharmaceutical Society NI President, Dr Geraldine O’Hare, said:
“I warmly congratulate everyone who has successfully passed the CRA. These results are a credit to your hard work, dedication and professionalism, and you should be very proud of this achievement. I look forward to welcoming successful candidates onto the Register of the Pharmaceutical Society NI.
“As a profession, we will continue to support the development of pharmacists in Northern Ireland and strive for excellence to uphold the standards that enable pharmacy to make such an important contribution to the health and wellbeing of our communities.”
