Following the consultation on the proposals for standards on Monitored Dosage Systems the Council decided not to issue formal standards. However, the Council has asked the Registrar to issue a regulatory statement. The regulatory statement can be found here: Regulatory Statement and all pharmacists are encouraged to read it and familiarise themselves with the content. In the view of Council, having considered all responses to the Consultation, this approach is both proportionate and appropriate.
